I love books. When I first started selling on eBay, that’s what I wanted to sell. I thought it would be fun and awesome to sell what I love. And it was. But it wasn’t easy. It took a lot of research and a lot of searching.
But, if you want to sell books on eBay, Practical eBay Selling has some valuable resources for you.
If you want an authority on book selling, you need to read Elaine Krieg Smith ebook How to Sell Books Using Online Auctions. She will guide you through each and every step you need to get started to sell books on eBay. Mrs. Smith teaches you how to use Turbo Lister effectively and how to determine which books are valuable. She’s been doing it a long time, so you can trust her judgment.
Also, if you want to cut down on your research time, you should check out her ebook on the hottest selling books for baby boomers. You can find it here.
Don’t just limit yourself to e Bay if your going to sell books online. Try eBay’s little too-much-forgotten site, half.com. If you want a comprehensive guide on making an extra $500-$1000 a month, check out Gary Hendrickson’s Selling Used Books Online.
And, one of the best resources online for selling books over the Internet is Book Think. This is an amazing site with all you’ll ever need to know about running a business, online or off selling books. If you’re serious about building a business by selling books, check out Book Think, spend some money to start making some money, and learn about some books.
Selling books online can be a very lucrative business. Though it may take some time to get off the ground, the reward will be priceless in the end. And, if nothing else, you’ll have an amazing collection of books to show off.

Great tip on half.com, I love buying books of that website. $.75 is a steal for them. It is probably better for books than regular eBay is, because most people I know go straight to half.com for books, instead of eBay. I used to sell most of my things on half.com before eBay downsized the categories and what is allowed to be posted on there.
